Joe’s background includes 40 plus years of catalog, education, event and publication circulation and database management. He participated in the team conversion of the Montgomery Ward manual customer buying record files (6,000,000+ names) to a computerized system, allowing computerized selection of buyer qualifications for catalog distribution and merge with rented lists. Following Montgomery Wards, Joe spent a short span of time with the Maxwell Sroge Company, developing new direct marketing ventures for client companies. He founded J. F. Glaser Incorporated, now GlaserDIRECT, Inc. in 1974.
For 35+ years, Joe has led J. F. Glaser Incorporated beginning as a catalog consulting support organization, migrating quickly to a list and database management company supporting a variety of clients with circulation strategy, list acquisition, list management, performance analysis and modeling. Barbara Toschak's involvement in Direct Marketing began in 1983 where she built a foundation in customer service and administration; 8 years working as assistant list broker and the last 15 years as a list broker, managing accounts ranging from B2B computer hardware and software manufacturers, information technology publications to consumer accounts in the areas of retail jewelry stores, tax form catalogs, continuing education, manufacturing tools, wine and craft publications. Maryann is our business manager, responsible for all administrative activities at GlaserDIRECT. She provides integral support to the list management and list brokerage order activity. Additionally, she ensures our order entry and other administrative functions operate smoothly. Bert has performed list brokerage duties for GlaserDirect since 1997. He works with B2B high tech clients. He knows the players in the packaging field and works with high volume packaging insert programs. His experience is also heavy in permission-based email for technology oriented business-to-business catalog applications and trade association membership development.
